And it looks like Komple 12 has something like instrument sets or packages like Kontact and using that, somehow, has access to the other sounds like "abbey road drums" as an example. align it properly in Reaper to use all the hopefully wonderful KK12 stuff as a synthesizer? 2. only after much research did i find that the nice 3.0 USB ports don't work right and i needed to plug into the old 2.0 ports. Installed those drives myself successfully thanks to several youtubevideos.įocusrite was causing all kinds of static on my JBL monitors. I found out I needed the SSD drive for the KK12 U CE sounds. so then I could get the software updated and installed. Native access wouldn't work for 2 days- didn't allow me to register- kept spinning until- it finally worked. I don't know how to use any of it! It's been a frustrating and overwhelming ride so far. 1 TB Samsung SSD drive, 1 TB HDD drive, Focusrite Scarlett 4i4, NI Komplete Kontrol 561 MK2 keyboard and the Komplete Kontrol 12 Ultimate Collector's Edition and Reaper. I'm old school and was using 16 track Korg equipment so I purchased all at once these items to bring me to the modern world of recording: Dell XPS 8930.
